Before you begin writing today, read through what you’ve written and see if you can discover latent impulses or patterns. Find something that is already happening that you haven’t really given much attention to, and allow it to expand, to flourish, even if only in a tiny moment. Perhaps all you write today is a tiny moment that cedes the floor to something you didn’t think you were busy doing.
